Food Safety Training for Food Handlers

Johnson County offers a free food safety training for food handlers on a regular basis. The class includes Focus on Food Safety training, video presentation on proper glove use, and a Q&A session on such topics as the Kansas Food Code, consumer advisory, and compliance guidelines. All attendees receive certificates of attendance. In addition, each establishment sending managers and/or food handlers will receive a Focus on Food Safety CD-ROM and will be listed on this website as supporting Food Safety education by their attendance.
