Under contract with the state of Kansas, the Food Safety Program
is responsible for licensing and inspecting over 1700 food service establishments
in Johnson County. The licensing process includes reviewing pre-construction plan
reviews and doing pre-opening inspections. For the establishments that are currently
in operation, the program performs routine and follow-up inspections and complaint
investigations. Please view our program statistics to see how many plan reviews
and inspections have been performed.
