Used Oil Recycling

We recycle about 300 gallons of oil per month which includes engine oil, hydraulic oil, and transmission fluid. Used oil is reprocessed by a local oil recycling company and sold as heating oil.

Used engine oil contains many pollutants and it is against the law to use it for road dust control or weed control.

You can also take your used oil to various local Jiffy Lubes, Valvoline Instant Oil Change stores, and NAPA Auto Parts stores. The MidAmerica Regional Council(MARC) maintains an up-to-date listing of local used oil collection sites.

Oil is bulked in a 300 gallon storage tank with secondary containment.
