Flammables Bulking
Oil-based Paint, Solvents, Stains, Thinners

Bulked flammable liquids have a second life as fuel in cement kilns. Household hazardous waste programs "close the loop" by providing a voluntary alternative to landfill disposal of household chemicals.

Oil-based paint is the main constituent of our flammables bulking program. Paint is stored in plastic "tub skids." Flammable aerosols are stored in a storage building which has sump containment in case of a spill as well as explosion proof lighting and a built-in fire suppression system.
