Permit Fees

On March 1, 2004, the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 025-04 which established permit fees to assist in covering the Environmental Department's costs to administer and enforce the industrial wastewater discharge requirements established by the Johnson County Code of Regulations for Sanitary Sewer Use, 2003 Edition.

As specified in the Resolution, annual Industrial Pretreatment Permit fees are due on or about October 1 each year. The Environmental Department will bill each permit holder on or about July 1 and provide a payment voucher with the billing. In addition, the Resolution included fees for Industrial Pretreatment Permit Reviews for permit issuance and re-issuance, Industrial Pretreatment Permit Modifications and Special Wastewater Discharge Authorization Reviews.  These fees are due at the time of application submittal. The fee amounts may be increased by up to ten (10) percent per year.
