Johnson County Hazardous Material Spills

In the event of an emergency, dial 911. Law enforcement personnel will have the appropriate response agency address your concern.

All other events should be reported to the Johnson County Environmental Department at (913) 715-6900 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

JCED also maintains a 24-hour response service for citizens unable to report the event during normal office hours. The 24-hour response service can be accessed by calling JCED at (913) 715-6900 and following the prompts in the message.
