U.S. EPA Resources

The following are links to several resources provided by the United States Environmental Protection Agency

Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS) Chemical Profiles and Emergency First Aid Guides
This is information about each of the 300+ EHS currently listed as part of Section 302 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. Each chemical profile includes physical/chemical properties, health hazards, fire and explosion hazards, reactivity data, precautions for safe handling and use, and protective equipment for emergency situations. The first aid guide provides signs and symptoms of poisoning and emergency treatment for first responders. The chemical profiles and first aid guides may be accessed from either the CAS No. or alphabetical list of EHS.

RCRA On-Line
The RCRA Online database is designed to enable users to locate documents, including publications and other outreach materials, that cover a wide range of RCRA issues and topics. RCRA is the acronym for the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976.

Envirofacts Data Warehouse
Envirofacts is a single point of access to select U.S. EPA environmental data. This website provides access to several EPA databases to provide you with information about environmental activities that may affect air, water, and land anywhere in the United States. With Envirofacts, you can learn more about these environmental activities in your area or you can generate maps of environmental information.
