Industrial Sampling
|
The JCED sampling team collects samples to enforce the federal Clean Water
Act of 1977. The sampling team is in charge of the collection of samples for
the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and the JCED
Industrial Pretreatment program in order to comply with local, state, and
federal regulations. Samples are collected from industries, treatment plants,
creeks, lakes, ponds, and streams, either manually or using automatic samplers. |
