| Geosynthetic liner system -- The geosynthetic liner system consists of a bentomat liner overlain by a synthetic plastic liner overlain by a nonwoven fabric liner. The bentonite liner consists of sodium bentonite encapsulated between geotextiles and is placed on top of the compacted clay layer. Bentonite is an absorbent clay mineral which adds extra protection to the liner system. |
