Bentomat Liner

Geosynthetic liner system - A HDPE (high density polyethylene) plastic liner (60-mil thick) is placed over the Bentonite liner. These liners come in 10-12 foot panels and are installed similar to laying down carpet.

Synthetic Plastic Liner

Geosynthetic liner system - The HDPE plastic is laid down in panels and seamed together using a fusion heat welding machine (in this particular project).

Geomembrane Liner - Fusion heat welding machine used to seam two synthetic panels.

Installing Synthetic Plastic

Geomembrane Liner - Workers installing the HDPE plastic liner. Sandbags are used to keep the liner stable during installation.  Quality control personnel are used to inspect and document that each roll is seamed properly and no holes or tears are observed.
