Update on Recent Activities at APAC-Reno

March 2008
  1. No hydrogen sulfide readings were detected by any of the monitors.

  2. An estimated 2,008,800 cubic feet of landfill gas removed and treated in March.

  3. An estimated 3,150,029 gallons of contact water (water that has seeped through the landfill and accumulated underneath the landfill) and well water were removed and treated in March.

  4. Water was discharged from the east permitted discharge point at the maximum capacity allowed by permit (120 gallons per minute) throughout March.
