Update on Recent Activities at APAC-Reno

Week ending March 11, 2006

The contact water treatment shows no changes with the two seep flows at 15 gpm (gallons per minute) into the lower east pond with the same treatment as needed.

The landfill gas collection and treatment system is nearly complete with testing of the blower system to verify landfill gas delivery and to adjust gas delivery mechanism to the burner. It is expected, the unit will be up and running next week and will also have the housing unit over the blower installed to reduce noise.

The air monitoring system installation is completed except for final installation of the telemetry system and hook up of the alarm system which is expected to be completed soon.
