JCED Is Accepting Electronics for Recycling!

October 11th is the last e-waste event in 2008!

Currently there is only a small percentage of electronic devices that are being recycled. Electronic waste volumes in the country are significant and some e-waste contains hazardous constituents which should be diverted from the landfill whenever possible. Collected items will be reconditioned and reused if possible. Obsolete or non-working equipment will be disassembled and the components recycled. Hard drives will be destroyed.

JCED will be accepting e-waste on the second Saturday of the month, May through October.  Collection will take place from 8am until 11:30am. E-Waste will not be accepted at any other time.
