The Solid Waste Management Program monitors and regulates non-hazardous solid waste management activities in the boundaries within Johnson County. The program enforces the rules and regulations for the environmentally safe storage, transportation, processing, and disposal of solid waste for the protection of the public's safety, health, welfare, and environment.
