Waterborne Diseases

Swimming is a popular summer activity. But did you know that the water in that pool or lake is not always safe? Illness can occur by accidentally swallowing water that has been contaminated by fecal matter. Listed below are two germs that cause illness. Please read this information from the National Center of Infectious Diseases to find out about these germs and how you can help prevent them.
